Vaccine Hesitancy Campaign Wins “Best in Public Sector” at PRWeek Awards Ceremony
The evening of March 16 marked a night of thrilling victory for The Anchor Group and its partner agency C+C, who took a stunning win at an awards ceremony widely known as “the Oscars for Public Relations.” Anchor not only won Best in Public Sector for its WeConsider campaign addressing COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy; it was also the only Black agency represented on a national scale.
Mariners Unveil New Muckleshoot Diamond Club, Press Club Ahead of Opening Day
Besa Gordon and Curtis Delgardo II were at T-Mobile Park yesterday for the unveiling of the Mariners’ newly renovated Diamond Club and Press Club. They took in the sights and sounds as President of Business Operations Catie Griggs spoke to the press.
The new Diamond Club was designed in partnership with the Muckleshoot Tribe, bringing their influence into the decor and experience.
Meet Cal Bonner - A Tattoo Artist and a Painter - on The Day With Trae
Cal Bonner took interest in art at a young age. Fascinated by his friend's arts, he had to trace them as a form of practice. "My friend was a good artist; he drew, and I was tracing art," said Bonner.
His friend encouraged him to start drawing by himself. "He said you've got to draw something for real, and so he made me draw on the spot in front of him, and then that's when I learned that this is something different," Bonner said.

After a national search conducted in partnership with Management Consultants for the Arts, Seattle Children’s Theatre (SCT) last week announces that Idris Goodwin will be the company’s third artistic director, succeeding Courtney Sale, who left the post in 2020. Goodwin, an award-winning playwright, breakbeat poet, director, and educator, starts his tenure with the organization this month, serving as co-executive alongside managing director Kevin Malgesini.
