The Los Angeles Clippers were the "Home" team tonight, hosting the Utah Jazz and winning behind a strong effort from Kawhi Leonard. The stars were on display at CPA, as numerous Seattle sports legends including Lenny Wilkens, Sue Bird, Bobby Wagner, and current players like J.P. Crawford and Jordan Horston were present at the game. The city of Seattle continues to show out, proving why it deserves an NBA team once again.

Kraken season is finally back, and #Back2Besa host Besa Gordon pulled up to the first pre-season game to check on the team and tap in with the voice of the Kraken Everett Fitzhugh as well as Kraken superfan Alicia Crank. For Gordon, it was a full circle moment after her first Kraken interview came with Fitz nearly a year to the day prior.

Friends of Waterfront Seattle brought the community out to Pier 62 for Pier Party, a fundraiser for the work being done by the organization as part of their expansive goal to create space for all of Seattle to enjoy the waterfront which raised nearly $200,000.

Yesterday, Seattle celebrated its second official Indigenous People’s Day with various events including a parade and rally at Westlake Park. The theme of the day was ‘Honoring Our Elders: Past and Present’ and the march was hosted by the United Indians Of All Tribes Foundation. Following the march, many of those present gathered at city hall.

#WalkTheBlock - Our Community Queen of Converge, Trae Holiday, tapped in at Wa Na Wari’s Walk The Block on last Saturday. The annual event brings artists together with the community to showcase their work and spread creative energy while celebrating the joy and beauty that is present within the Central District and beyond.

The #2 seed Tacoma Defiance fell to the #4 seed Austin FC II, as the hosting Defiance were shutout and unable to hold Austin while being down to ten men. It's another disappointing playoff loss for Tacoma, squandering a great regular season.

The first annual King County Green Jobs, Green Futures Summit took place at the Fremont Foundry on September 29th, bringing people from across Seattle together to explore the ways they can get involved with sustainability efforts and eco-friendly industries. Last Monday, community members gathered to remember those we’ve lost during the City of Seattle and the Alliance for Gun Responsibility One Seattle Day of Remembrance event at the First African Methodist Episcopal Church on Capitol Hill in Seattle. It was a somber and reflective day featuring a memorial as well as a look at the work different organizations and individuals are doing throughout the community to end the epidemic of violence.

The OL Reign struck first on a headed goal from Bethany Balcer, off the service from Megan Rapinoe, but a chaotic end of the first half saw the Reign concede and a red card assessed to Alana Cook, and the Reign had to hunker down in the second half to split the points with the visiting North Carolina Courage.
