Kraken forward Andre Burakovsky to miss 6-8 weeks with an upper body injury 

The Seattle Kraken will lose another forward with a long-term injury, as Andre Burakovsky will miss approximately 6-8 weeks with what is being called an "upper body injury." The Kraken will be without a player that was their leading point scorer last season before he suffered a groin injury that ended his campaign immediately after the all-star break.

Light malfunction an omen for dysfunctional Kraken play in loss to Rangers  

The Seattle Kraken fell to the New York Rangers, closing out a three-game homestand for Seattle. It was a bizarre night at Climate Pledge Arena as a light issue delayed the start of this contest, before the Kraken scored the opening goal of the game with a Justin Schultz blast. It was all Rangers from there, as New York scored the next four goals and Seattle failed to answer back.
