Besa Gordon joined Good Day Seattle with Erin Mayovsky this morning to introduce her love letter to Wonder of Women (WOW) Gallery in light of their closure last month, a loss that marked the end of a monumental Seattle business, but the start of a long-lasting legacy of safety, creativity, and healing. For years, WOW Gallery was a safe haven for Black women to be joyful, share their stories, and bask in the creativity and inspiration that make the Black community special, and its impact continues to hold fast in the years to come.

The full love letter to the WOW Gallery will be featured this weekend on Back2Besa, highlighting the Closing Celebration, the gallery's Juneteenth celebration, and the overall legacy of a community-defining institution in the Emerald City.
