With the holiday season reaching its peak, Converge throws it back to when Besa Gordon headed to Disneyland for a special holiday preview in Anaheim, California in 2023. At the “happiest place on Earth,” Gordon hosted a live radio broadcast on HITS 106.1 and learned all about what Disneyland had in store for the 2023 holiday season. 

“We’re in a radio room surrounded by at least 40 other radio shows from all across the country,” V101.1 & KISS 107.9 host Eric “Strawberry” Fielden said. “We’re going to be able to eat, ask experts questions, and explore the park.”

Another Seattle radio personality, Strawberry said that as someone who grew up watching Disney, being at the park for the Holiday Preview is a dream come true. “I’m a kid at heart. It’s great to be able to combine radio and Disney,” he said. 

Gordon also asked Strawberry what advice he has for someone working to come up in the industry. His answer was simple: “Network. Whether it’s on social media, in person, put your dream in your path,” he said.
