Building the World, Brick by Brick: Besa Gordon's Exclusive Look at MOHAI's 'Towers of Tomorrow' LEGO Exhibit
Besa Gordon took a behind-the-scenes tour of the traveling LEGO exhibit, "Towers of Tomorrow," which was on display at MOHAI (Museum of History and Industry) in 2024. The exhibit showcased intricate LEGO skyscrapers from North America, Asia, and Australia, painstakingly crafted by Ryan McNaught, one of only 21 LEGO Certified Professionals in the world.
"Towers of Tomorrow" featured detailed replicas of world-renowned buildings such as the Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore, the Chrysler Building in New York, the CN Tower in Toronto, and the Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Devorah Romanek, MOHAI's Chief of Exhibits, shared that some of the featured buildings "were once the tallest buildings in the world," making each LEGO model, from the legendary Empire State Building to the ultra-sleek Burj Khalifa, a genuine piece of art.
