Owner Quinton Gethers modeled the restaurant after his grandmother's business, ensuring a menu rooted in "down-home Southern Living." 

The restaurant's popularity is driven by fresh, flavorful Southern staples, with the catfish plates, po' boys, and turkey legs topping the list of customer favorites. Hot Fish House fosters a warm and welcoming atmosphere built on genuine Southern hospitality. 

Manager Sherrhonda Brown said she aspires for every customer to experience this "Arkansas upbringing," emphasizing the importance of walking everyone to the door when they leave. For Gethers, the restaurant also fulfills a larger vision: creating an impactful Black-owned business that reinvests in the community by hiring and supporting people transitioning through life.
