Do you feel the love in the air? To celebrate Valentine’s Day, we’re throwing it back to 2023 when Ashaunti Martin-Smith, owner of the Seattle-based bartending service Couture Cocktails, hosted a beautiful, love-themed cocktail class at Made Space in the Central District. 

Next Saturday, Ashaunti is bringing her masterful mixology to the Black Media Matters Studio for a Cocktails & Charcuterie Experience: Black Excellence on Display. While Ashaunti’s got the drinks covered, Gennell Hunter of Hunter in a Cup will lead an all-inclusive charcuterie workshop. Every ticket includes all class materials for cocktails and charcuterie, one raffle ticket for items generously donated by local Black-Owned businesses, and a night of Black excellence and celebration. 

When? Saturday, Feb. 21 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
