Molly Moon's Waterfront Location Upholds Community Vision

Molly Moon's Homemade Ice Cream celebrated the grand opening of its new storefront on Seattle’s Waterfront this summer, marking an exciting addition to the renovated park. Molly Moon's mission to create multi-generational community gathering places aligns perfectly with the vision for the Waterfront, which aims to draw all of Seattle to enjoy the picturesque Puget Sound and Elliott Bay.

Founder Molly Moon Neitzel is on a mission to create multigenerational community gathering places, and Molly Moon’s location on the Waterfront allows her to accomplish this goal. A significant part of Molly Moon's commitment is its dedication to local sourcing, with approximately 90% of ingredients coming from the Pacific Northwest. Partnerships are key to the business’ success, many of which are built on local sourcing, handmade products, and the creation of quality jobs.

The new Molly Moon’s location is expected to be a major anchor for the southern part of the park, drawing visitors from across the city, from Pike Place Market, the Overlook Walk, the Aquarium, and the Sculpture Garden. With the ever-changing flavors and toppings available and the irresistible scent of homemade waffle cones wafting through the air, this expansion not only offers a beloved treat, but also embodies Molly Moon's dedication to quality, community, and supporting local producers.
