Our Legacy Harvested: Tiquette Bramlett’s Mission to Diversify the Wine Industry
Back2Besa host Besa Gordon sat down with Tiquette Bramlett, founder of Our Legacy Harvested, in 2023, to learn about how Bramlett is transforming the wine industry by creating opportunities for people from all walks of life to get involved. Her organization works as a non-profit dedicated to providing individuals with the tools for long-term success in the wine world.
By seeking to break down the barriers that historically stop people from getting involved, Bramlett and her team are focused on welcoming a whole new generation of winemakers and professionals. The heart of the foundation’s work is a comprehensive four-month internship program that coincides with the harvest season. Participants are immersed in the full "vine to wine" story and gain hands-on experience in various career paths.
Recognizing the barriers to entry, Our Legacy Harvested provides interns with essential support, including housing, transportation, and education. This support and broad exposure—from visiting bottling facilities to meeting wine journalists and exploring retail at bottle shops—helps participants discover which specific area resonates with their personal passions.
