All organizations are presenting public programs this June.  Inspired by Eunice Johnson is our tribute at BHS to the JPC Archive while having some fun with EBONY Magazine and how Seattle was inspired.

Celebrate Pride on the water with Argosy Cruises! On June 28th and 29th, sail in celebration of Pride Month and our Queer community on a stunning 1.5 hour Summer Views Cruise. On Saturday, June 21, 2025, the Kent Black Action Commission (KBAC) invites the community to the 14th Annual Linda Sweezer Memorial Juneteenth Festival & Celebration at Morrill Meadows Park in Kent, WA.

This June, our community partners, Black Night Market are hosting two vibrant markets on Pier 62, featuring a diverse lineup of BIPOC vendors, performers, and food trucks. Black Night Market works to create a space that uplifts Black businesses, showcases creativity, and fosters community connections.

Soulful Flow Yoga (SFY)merges mindfulness, movement and conscious soulful music into an uplifting yoga practice to deepen the student's connection to their mind, body and soul. SFY is an incusive practice designed to make yoga accesible to all, but particularly a vision to provide representation and exposure to yoga and wellness for communities of color.

This Juneteenth, we invite you to join us in honoring Black history, resilience, and joy at Shoreline's Juneteenth Celebration. This event is hosted by the City of Shoreline and Black Coffee NW! 

Juneteenth is a day to reflect on the journey toward freedom and justice—and a time to uplift Black excellence and community power. We're bringing together local Black-owned businesses, artists, musicians, and community leaders for a day of culture, connection, and celebration.
