In a recent interview with guest host of "The Day with Trae” Alicia Crank, Cherryl Jackson, President of the Board of Delegates for Homestead Community Land Trust (HCLT) shared details about the organization's upcoming annual fundraiser this Saturday featuring Representative Stacey Abrams, and dove into the impacts and importance of community land trusts.

The debate will be accessible to a broad audience, airing on FOX13 Seattle and simultaneously across all Converge Media streaming platforms.

Converge Media's "Community Voices," hosted by Angela Poe Russell, is set to broadcast a pivotal episode on Monday, July 14th at 7 pm, focusing on accessible and affordable mental health care in King County. The special aims to shed light on the resources available to residents, particularly the Crisis Care Centers, which are funded by a voter-approved levy.

Demontrice Bigham's powerful conversation with Trae Holiday on The Day with Trae sheds light on the critical need for mentorship among young Black queer men. As the founder of the Alain LockE Initiative, Bigham draws from his experiences as a former Director of Housing at an HBCU and his own journey of self-discovery to address the guidance gap in our community.

Africatown Community Land Trust will host its annual State of Africatown on March 2. The event has been running for the last decade, serving as a platform for community voices to discuss issues facing Seattle's Central District. With a focus on strengthening the Black Community amidst challenges like gentrification and resident displacement, the event emphasizes initiatives to promote neighborhood security. Kennesha Poe-Buycks, the Communications & Marketing Manager of the ACLT, and Jacqueline Armstrong, Vice Chair of the organization's board, stopped by The Day with Trae to talk about the event.   

Last month, Community Voices featured a conversation about the leading factor in preventable deaths for Black Individuals in the U.S.: tobacco. Specifically, menthol tobacco - which is more addictive than standard tobacco and aggressively marketed to people of color.
